The client company has recently reorganized internal Finance Division that has since created solid career opportunities within mainstream Finance Operations and Shared Services Center.

Two Key Director-level appointments directly reporting to the CFO are:

1) Competent CPA who will manage under 30 staff that basically comprise Shared Services Team.
Main responsibility is delivery of the company’s finance shared services and ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. This means efficiencies in Accounting and Consolidation functions.
Specific tasks include timely submission of Business compliance reports including statutory accounting as a responsible Corporate citizen; and to the Region HQ, efficient and timely submission of Financial Reports together with Forecasting & Budgeting data.
Successful appointee must demonstrate prior good work experience managing financial processes, controls and reporting for a Shared Services set-up preferably from a reputable Multinational entity and with some exposure to Manufacturing environment
2) Savvy Financial Analysis executive who will manage competent team of In-Plant Controllers.
Main responsibility is strong business partnership with line leads in Commercial, Manufacturing/Plant and Supply Chain through keen analyses of their financial data & systems, business processes as well as providing helpful insights on the “financial health” of decisions and performance
- A collaborative & solutions-oriented mindset is required to effectively advise Line Leaders on their business-as-usual thinking, challenge ideas or encourage open debate on the right focus to take
- A CPA credential may not be required but what is important is to have a Finance executive who is “I.T.-savvy”, knowledgeable of analytical dashboards of ERP Systems. Exposed to process automation initiatives as well as implementing same would be ideal

The client organization has entered a period whereupon the Business is challenged and fast-paced due to major and additional investments form the Global HQ in order to meet the local economy’s growth and Infrastructure goals.

For both positions, the Client firm will expect to hire quick thinkers who could just as readily roll up their sleeves to get things done without delay. Aside from similar Shared Services environments, exposure to the “Hard, Industrial” types of operations would be advantageous.
