Here is a great opportunity for a Finance executive, preferably between 40s to 50s, to join an enterprise at the cusp of new business growth coming as it is from a period of successful business transformation.

To report to and expect to closely collaborate with the President & CEO as Finance Function Business Partner, the CFO would be in a strong position to help strategize, lead and implement necessary initiatives for growth. Also influencing top management major and minor investment decisions and approach to Business. Available to do local & international travel for Business.

The most suitable fit would be a

  • Finance practitioner whose work history has enabled developing apparent strength in Financial Planning and Commercial Finance. Also working across finance teams from Controllership, Business Planning & Analysis, to Treasury.

  • After collecting sound initial employments with manufacturing entities known for their good systems & procedures and observance of fiscal responsibility, it would be close to ideal to have work experience in companies that produce “price-volatile” products such as but not limited to agricultural commodities e.g. grains, feeds, etc. In fact, some understanding if not working knowledge of Commodities Futures would be an advantage.

  • Candidate who is adequately self-confident, assertive as needed but primarily quick-thinking. Proven leader. Able to strongly collaborate with as well as influence Internal Stakeholders regarding the best strategies to move projects forward.

  • Possessed with sufficient structured foundation and work discipline yet capable of thinking outside of the box. This, in order to help ensure Management Committee and Board decisions are well-thought out and pragmatic.

- Experienced Head of Procurement for Agri-based enterprise -

The position we are seeking to fill is newly-created. The company involved faces a boom in business especially with the right and timely procurement strategies.

  • Working alongside other C-suite roles such as Heads of Finance, Supply Chain, Plant Operations, HR, this new role will play a highly strategic role and clearly at the forefront of how the company is going to dramatically achieve its forward business goals and grow.

We seek a senior professional who can demonstrate many years of successful corporate experience in buying, negotiating, hedging - even engaging in Commodities Futures – agricultural commodities such as grains (wheat, corn, soybeans, etc.) and livestock/feeds.

  • This work background will enable the company to depend on him/her to ensure the raw materials needs of the company are well-stocked for short to medium term production requirements and future demand.

Arguably, the most suitably qualified person is:

  • able to follow through on strategic projections

  • strong sense of urgency and pro-action, timely collaborations with Members of the company’s Senior Leadership Team on financial requirements would lead him/her to be fully supported in those positions he/she takes on various sources of commodities.

While accustomed to work with his depth of knowledge and instincts, we require a person who has a good head in between his/her shoulders in order to work effectively with & through his various procurement teams and across heads/personnel in Operations .

  • Employment-wise, the right person for the job may have worked in Commodity Trading firms and afterwards transferred to Manufacturing entities that produce raw materials for such products as Feeds, Livestock, Fertilizers, among others.
